ABOUT FRIENDSVILLE FRIENDS MEETING

The Religious Society of Friends, also known as Quakers, most value peace, good education and good government.

The Friendsville Friends Meeting first began holding services in a log cabin in 1808. While the stricter regulations of the Quaker doctrine have relaxed with the passing of time the core values still remain.  We follow the Holy Spirit, and believe that there is a part of God within each of us.  The Friends still meet every Sunday for worship service, which includes a “quiet period” of meditative prayer, music and a pastoral message.
